About the pilot

Tore Friele Lie

A geomatics engineer (MSc) who has mapped Svalbard for the Norwegian Mapping Authority. He founded Falkeblikk in 2010 and has since filmed from the peaks of Jotunheimen, inside blue-ice caves and along the entire coast of Norway.

Tore has extensive experience with heavy-lift drones and large cinema cameras. When a production calls for equipment he does not own, he rents it from major suppliers in the industry. He has also led complete film productions from planning to final shoot, including demanding set-ups with cameras mounted on helicopters.

Falkeblikk holds all the permits required for commercial drone operations.
